Do you have the marriage certificate of your William Arrowsmith b 1865 - if so it will show the father´s name and occupation which may match with the 1871 census info we have found. He may well be the same William as shown in the 1871

It may be her middle name - but father is Henry not William as you stated!

address 175 Eastfield Street - may be Alpha Cottage which is the name of the entry just above the Arrowsmith family

maybe Mary is her middle name?
