Morning Jools xxx Alexandra, You say you 'believe' he's buried in Colchester ... this doesn't mean he didn't die in Devon ... and have you solid proof he died and was buried in Colchester ? .... rather than 'hearsay'. Elaine ;-)

Jools Report 3 Aug 2006 09:59

Alexandra - just because he's buried in Essex does NOT mean he died there. Are you saying the 1917 birth I've just found for you is NOT him??

Yes, I've 'believed' a lot in the past, only to come unstuck ! Keep an open mind on that one, it is on civil registration after all. Didn't see another close enough match to send you. May well turn out to be him. Deb

Hi well i have no solid proof i only know what i have been told he spent his last years living in mistly essex but perhaps he went to stay in devon and died there but i know he definelty lived in mistly in a retirement home. This looks like it can be birth and il try and find out where he died as you say it could be him. Thanks to all. x
