I can't find a county listed for it either. Just that it is a peninsular on the west coast of Scotland. This is the address given for the old forge there:- The Old Forge, Inverie, Knoydart, by Mallaig, Scotland. Aparently there are only 60 people living in Mallaig, so it's a very small place. It doesn't really help with a county though. You will probably need someone from Scotland to help. Kath. x

Where did you get this name from? Are you sure its right? If so, have you tried googling?

I don't have any knoledge about the area. Family is Macdonalds and they emmigrated to Canada in 1830's. Google did not give me the county as it listed as island? Any help would be appreciated.
