i think my Jane Bartlett married a Walter Legg however i am unable to find the marriage which would have been between the 1891 and the 1901 census. i have found a Jane Legg right age right birthplace to mine, but cannot ascertain that her maiden name was Bartlett both Walter and Jasne came from Dorset but were living in Kent on the 1901 the first 2 children were born in Wye Kent c 1891 & 1893 can anyone help please???? ta Bev

Reggie i have looked on FreeBMD and Ancestry i have only looked between 1891 and 1901 i have my jane still single and Bartlett on the 1891 in dorset. but cannot find my Jane Bartlett in 1901, so am assuming she married between the 2 census. the childrens ages on the 1901 census where i have found Jane Legg born right place right time would confirm my thoery that she married between the census i can find no death for her between these dates hope that makes sense Bev

My grandmother outlived her husband and her only two sons.......the sons died within three months of each other............ And she was about 4ft 8ins, and weighed all of seven stone wringing wet!! Reg
