Find Ancestors

Hi Everyone, Sorry about this but I must be doing this search wrong, can't get any results. Can someone tell me how to use this IGI search on LDS website.please!!. Betty

hiya, i wouldnt, google 'hugh wallis' and then you'll be able to find what your looking for alot easier, his records are taken from LDS but allows you to search by county and place, is much easier julie

Hi Liz an Julie, I was just trying to find out if I could do a search for someone from Ireland and also my relatives from Dundee. I did read on one of the threads you can do this with IGI but can't find the posting now. I thought LDS was the only one who had IGI Julie. Will also try the one you suggested. Betty

hiya, the hugh wallis site has all igi info, but is much easier to search, when you get to his site you'll see a disclaimer, whuich refers to all info comingfrom LDS site, hope this helps julie dont forget to replace * with dots on my earlier post j

Does the IGI have Irish and Scottish information, though? You'd be better off with Scotlandspeople for Scottish information, I should think.

Hi Mary, Yes the IGI on the LDS website does have Scottish and Irish information on BMD. Also spent £100 in the last month on Scotlands People. Betty
