Can someone please see if they can find Maud May Daniels b 1882 in Whitechapel London on the 1901 census, Regards Michael

Hello Pen, no iv'e not been able to find her with her parents at all someone found her on 1891 in Forest gate industrial school, I have her birth cert and her father was Joseph Daniels and her mother was emma Daniels on 1881 census her parents are transcribed as Dannels, Don't know if that helps, Michael

Hello again Pen; yes phoebe was a sister of Maud but i can find no sign of Maud or another sister of hers named Rose with their parents, Joseph the father died in 1890, Theyr'e a bit of a mystery family.

Phoebe died in 1885 in Bethnal green, Emma E Daniels is living in Old Ford Rd Bow in 1891 with Son William b 1890Arthur b 1888 and daughter Emma b 1877 who on previous census is Catherine Emma Daniels

Pen, i think that the Nellie on 1901 could be Maud, it seems like the only explaination, i suppose Nellie could have been some sort of nickname, i'll have to check bmd's to see if there is a Nellie Daniels b 1881/82/83 if not i reckon Nellie is in fact Maud, (talk about do your head in) Thanks very much for all your help, And good luck .
