Find Ancestors

I am trying to find Simon Hammond, his wife susannah and their children I have them in 1861and then I have found Susan living with daughter and her family in 1891and in 1901 living with same family but this time as a widow? ( I think she was possibly a widow in 1891, but not certain) Simon was born 1835 in Hawkedon, Suffolk and Susannah ws born 1837 Lavenham, Suffolk. They stayed in suffolk throughout their life by the looks of it. Can anybody please see if they can find them at all? Many thanks osy

playing hard to get on 1871 the wife appears with the same surname later ?- she didnt re-marry or anything?

youve all found the same man. Im really not sure if Susannah remarried. In the 1901 census shes still under her origninal married name.

Elaine that is what I found that 1891 listed as married and then 1901 widowed. Im not sure if it ws a mistake then, or that hubby was living elsewhere.

Sorry - have tried all diferent sorts of searches and cant come up with anything else.

I'm trotting up and down Lavenham High st.!!(1871) can some just check what number high st they were at in 1861 please?

You can, but only by going back to 1861 , looking at the neighbours, finding them ,hopefully in the same place and then flit from page to page. not many pages to lavenham, they dont seem to be there
