Hi Lorraine, Thank you so much for finding the COOKE family for me. I knew of William and Ann but had no idea there were three older children too, so that's a great bonus. Many thanks once again. Best wishes, Janet

Hi Lorraine, thanks very much for your help, no wonder I couldn't find his birth on IGI. If it isn't too much trouble could you tell me if there were any other Clapshaw's in the Shoreditch in the 1841 census, maybe a Charles???? The job you are doing for us all is fantastic thankyou very much Wendy

Hi Lorraine, I don't know whether you'll ever get round to reading this as you seem to be overwhelmed with eager requests......but........ I am looking for the COOKE family : father EDWARD , born abt 1805 in Baddesley Ensor, Warwickshire (in the Police) ,mother SARAH, born abt 1803 in Tamworth, Staffs, son WILLIAM born abt 1838 in St Margarets or St. Marylebone, Westminster, and my ancestor baby ANNE or ANNIE MARIA born 3rd July 1840 at No. 6 York Place, Palmers Village, Westminster. (I have her Birth Cert.) I can find no trace of the family in the 1851 census but have them in the 1861 census living in St. Marylebone in Manchester Villa, Townshead Road. If you manage to find them, I would love details. Thanks very much. Regards, Janet
