Find Ancestors

.I am looking for the name of Moores. My husbands father Horace Abraham Moores in 1929 occ was given as Seaman RN armamant supply depot vessel. Horace's father was listed on Horaces marriage cert as Abraham Moores a Naval pensioner apart from this information I have nothing else to go on..Mesage updated today 3.4.06 as still unable to find any record and the surname is def Moores Many thanks Lynn

Hi Reggie Horace was born in 1904 and married 1929. We know his had a younger brother called Bernard...also in attendance at Horace's wedding. It's their Father Abraham who We are most interested in so as to be able to go back a bit further. The reason we dont know anything about Horace and Abraham is that my husband didn't know his father as he left when hubby was a very young child in or around 1948 Best regards Lynn

I cant see a birth for Horace Abraham Moores or variants around that time. I suggest you try and get his birth cert before even attempting to find his father. Being seamen they could be anywhere. Suzanne
