Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me out please? I have been trying to find out some info on my husbands family, but am not getting anywhere. I know his mums family name and basically thats it. Hi mums name was Jennifer Lynne Stott and she was born 1948. Her parents were William and Gladys and she had a brother and a sister named Peter and Nina. Unfortunately she died in 1998, and we have no other information. She grew up in Llandudno in the 50's and 60's and had my husband, Simon, in 1967. As far as i am aware she left North Wales to move to Birmingham with her then husband, but came back to North Wales when her parents were dying. Any help is much appreciated.

Are you wanting to go backwards or forwards? If backwards, you need to look for her parents' marriage and then their birth certs. If forwards, put a message on the Trying to find board. nell

I am just trying to get any info. We don't have any relevant info. I just want help as to where to look. I have posted on Trying to find. I am also trying to Find Peter and Nina as we don't know where they are.

Hi Lisa Would Peter have been born in Llnadudno or Birmingham? There are no P Stott listed in Llandudno but one in the Birmingham area. Chrissie

Jennifer L Stott was born Bangor reg district 1948 her mothers maiden name was KIRKMAN so what we need is a STOTT/KIRKMAN MARRIGAGE Q: did jennifer have brothers and sisters?YES (sorry Peter and Nina) older / younger??

Found a Stewart Stott, mother's maiden name Kirkman born in Salford in 1953. Could they have moved or is this a different family?

If you are trawling through Ancestry then they are there provided the page isn't missing! The beta version is not 100% reliable from that point of view. Make a note of the quarters that you don't get to see then you can look in a library for them or ask for help on here. Janice

Hi, thanks to everyones help, i have got much further than i have been able to before. I am know trying to find when the wedding between Gladys Kirkman and William Stott took place. I have looked through most years i though it might be but there are quaters missing. I'm not sure if anyone can help, but i am looking for: 1939 Apr-May-Jun 1941 Oct-Nov-Dec 1942 Jan-Feb-Mar I found both William and Gladys deaths registered in Dyffryd Con 1975 and from that i think i have found their births also. William is down as William Gibson Stott born 1899 in Bury and i found a Gladys A Kirkman born 1913 born in Stone. Anyone who can help, i would really appreciate it.
