Pete William Wildman was not born in Little Brickhill according to the records, Or Bow Brickhill Or Great Brickhill. But I have traced a marriage of Thomas Wildman (Widower)to Sarah Hemmings (Spinster) in Little Brickhill 12/2/1823. Parents names were not on the cert but it was witnessed by Samuel King and William Hemmings. Jo |

Jane Regrettably yours is the only one I could not help with. The records for the late 1600's is very poorly transcribed and hardly legible at all. Sorry Jo |

Shirley What a prolific family. There were 8 male Moxons & wives having children 1830 to 1840 plus your John and Sarah William & Elizabeth Thomas and Ann Caleb and Ann Caleb & Sarah Richard and Mary Ann Isaac and Ann William & Ann Robert & Sarah John and Sarah didn't give up on the name Roda. I assume the first two must have died. 1. 10/1/1831 2. 9/10/1831 3 11/1/1833 I could not find Edwin or Ellen being born in Stewkley or Iver However I did find their marriage John Moxon - of this parish married Sarah Faulkner 25th Oct 1825 - witnessed by Wm Stevens & Thos Grace. Dizzy It was as I suspected, they did not put the parents names on marriage certs at that time. The date on IGI is correct and William was of this parish,Witnesses were William West and Colin Barton. I looked for births 1800 to 1813 with no luck. Sorry Jo |

Jo, If I'm not too late any chance of a check in the registers of Little Brickhill. Interested in the baptism of William WILDMAN. According to census entries he was born in Little Brickhill c 1825. I think his father may be Thomas WILDMAN but have no idea of occupation, spouses name etc. And if I can really cheeky, any marriage for Thomas? Many thanks Pete |

Hello again Jo, if you have time would you mind looking for me in MOULSOE for Eliza FRANKLIN baptism in 1828. There is no entry in IGI but that is consistent throughout the census entries. She also had a sister Comfort FRANKLIN born about 1823. The only other place that I can find her possible father Thomas is in GREAT BRICKHILL. Very grateful for your kind offer, again! Many thanks Helen |

Hi, I would be most grateful if you get time to see if you can find any info on: John Moxon (e) he married a Sarah who was born in 1807 He was not on the 1851 census and I have 1841 info from another thread that they were not there either. I have them as having three children in 1851 census Edwin Moxon born 1839 Roda Moxon born 1833 Ellen Moxon born 1845 (my ggg grandmother) I cannot find any of the births on the BMDor Marriage. All info on them says they came from Stewkley (stutley) in Bucks I obviously would appreciate it if you could find out any info and thank you in advance but if you do not have time then please do not worry. Many thanks Shirley |

Going again on Tuesday. So am happy to do any look ups for anyone including newspaper articles. Please ensure you give me an approx year but don't mind going a few years either side. Also I will need the village and if you believe them to be of a nonconformist religion, it would be useful as most parish registers have been transcribed but the non conformists are still on film only. I am happy to confirm detials obtained from the IGI as I have twice found the date to be out by a few days but usually they are correct. Jo |
