Joyce Thanks for your kind offer. If possible could you check 1861/1871 census for Robert Kerr and his wife Henrietta probably at Dechmont cottages which I think were in Livingston. ( but I've also seen given as Uphall or Linlithgow). Any information would be appreciated. Regards Peter

Thomam McGarry (or Thomas McGarry/McGerry/McGerrey) and Margaritam Smith (Margaret), both born in Sligo Ireland were supposedly married on 4th Feb. 1851 in Edinburgh according to childrens birth certificates. Hope you find something, otherwise I think I will have to disregard info. on the certificates and try Ireland for a marriage. Elaine
