He's on the 1901 census as being 65! x

The 1881 census results are defo him, I've looked at the other two before and these are the ones that are giving me confusion! He married his first wife in 1855 and his children from that marriage are living with her parents on the 1861 census. I can't find him anywhere on the 1851 census. I now know that he spent some time in Australia as a young man, so thats a possiblity as to why he wasnt on the census'. However, I am really beginning to wonder he was a bigamist and had another family tucked away! x

It's always possible that the age at death was just a guesstimate. Maybe he forgot how old he was and had told everyone the wrong age. Happens!

Juliana You can search for BMD's Free on both Ancestry, Ancestry Images and Free BMD. if he's birth was before September 1837 it will not be in the GRO records, you can try family search or you will have to search or contact Cheshire Records office. Carrie

Hi All Could anyone help me to find a birth of a Samul Bunting, all census says he was born c1836. However, I have recently found out that he died in 1904 aged 64, which means he would have been born in 1840. Census says he was born in Stockport, Cheshire. Thanks x
