Hi What a task you have offered. I do not know if you will get time to look at this for me but it would help. I am looking for a Abraham Toy married to an Elizabeth. Had a son called William born 1815 in Colwich. That is all I know on him. If it is not too much trouble also looking for more information on JACK BROWNDSWORD. Married a Annie Little in Kidderminster and also a Annie E Burgess they were married 24/10/1959 in Audley. Jack has something to do with Hall O Wood, Betley. Any information on this would be really great Many thanks Mandy Keen |

Hi Pamela Please could you do me a very big favour? I live in Staffs but am disabled, without transport so find it impossible to get to Stafford. I have been trying to find the marriage of my 2xGreat Grandparents for a long time without success. They were Joseph Careless and Sylvia Cresswell, born around 1820. On the 1841 census they were each living with their parents at The Green, Darlaston. In Feb 1843 their son John was born and was baptised at St Lawrence Church, Darlaston. I can only assume that they married around this time. I did look at some bishops transcripts at Lichfield records office but they did not have the relevant years there so I was disappointed. If they married elsewhere then I just don't know where else to look as there were lots of churches in Darlaston at that time. Any help you can give would be very much appreciated. Regards Ann |

Hi Pamela Thanks for the offer - you actually looked up something for me last week (Elijah Malkin and Ann Boulton). Well it turns out that I've had the wrong parents for my Joseph Malkin! I would therefore be grateful if you could look up the marriage of Joseph Malkin and Hannah Gibson in the first quarter of 1860 in St Luke's, Leek. The reference for Staffs BMD is 33C/1/280. I'll hopefully, finally, be able to find out parents or witnesses of the above. Many thanks. Mel |

Pam My geography for this area is dodgy! Longnor seems to be on the border with Derbyshire and I've been led to believe that Longnor Chapelry might fall into Staffs? If so I've lost my x3 grt gran HANNAH RICHARDSON born Longnor c1800/1803 ish. She married later in Mayfield - those records I've got waiting for me in my LDS centre for today! Any advice on Longnor Chapelry also appreciated. Thanks Jan |

Hi Pamela Don't know if you'll have much luck with this, but would appreciate your trying please. Looking for info on Job Wool(l)ey bc 1828 in Bilston (father possibly John). Job's first child was born 1849 in Darlaston, so I'm guessing he may have married there in 1848/49 - spouse's name was Ann. Not much to go on I'm afraid - I couldn't find the marriage on 1837online. Thanks very much. Davina |
