Hi Pamela Thanks for the offer. Could you please look up the baptism details of JOHN MATTOCKS in Wolverhampton St Peter's or Collegiate Church. He was born in 1822, hopefully this might reveal his parents names. I wouldn't also find the baptism dates of these at the same church: ELLEN MATTOCKS (1848) JANE MATTOCKS (1850) FRANK MATTOCKS (1861) THOMAS MATTOCKS (1862) GEORGE MATTOCKS (1867) EMMA MATTOCKS (1870) CHARLES MATTOCKS (1874) Thanks again for your time.

Hi Pam, Thank you for such a generous offer. I have found a marriage on the LDS site( and also on a Wolverhampton archives site) and would be very grateful if you could help me find our some more info on the Groom. The marriage took place on 8 April 1790 at Wolverhampton (St Giles) between George Reeves and Sarah Aston. Sarah came from Bushbury and was born c1766...but i can't find anything else on George (and , of course, he's the one i really want!!) I don't know if the microfiche gives more details...a fathers name perhaps, or a place of birth even...but i would be very grateful for ANY help you can give. Many thanks, Karen

Hi Pamela Im not sure if this is something you could look for please,if you have access to Longton parish reg---I am looking for the birth of BENJAMIN who is the illigitimate son of MARTHA BAXTER . On the 1851c it gives BENJAMIN BAXTER 3 YRS b LONGTON ... on the 1861c and all other census's he gives his name as BENJAMIN RHODES ...It is the Rhodes family i am researching and Martha did marry a Benjamin Rhodes (in 1853),so im wondering if her son Benjamin who was born about 1847 was c as Benjamin RHODES or BAXTER..Was the fathers name mentioned in the parish reg? Would be pleased if you could help Many thanks --Marion in oz

Hi All If anyone needs any information looking up in Stafford Archives I am willing to do this. I go to Stafford every Tuesday - so there wouldn't be a long wait for the results. I wouldn't be able to do blankets searches but looking up specific information no problem at all. Pam Stoke on Trent Just adding to let you all know that I am still doing the look ups and anyone waiting to hear from me don't worry I am still working on them. Pam.
