I have been trying to trace the birth of my grandmother, i have traced the burths of her brothers and sisters but can't find my gran, i have her baptism cert marriage cert and date of death but no record of birth, her dob is as far as i know aug 13th1894 either Grimsby lincs or Biggleswade beds, they came to Derby 1900, the family moved alot due to her dads job, Parents are Alfred James Churchyard Sarah Louisa Coldham, brothers are Alfred, Frederick and Harry, sisters are Elizabeth l c m, Rosina May, Gertie Blanche, i would be grateful of any information. Is this the family in 1891? I can't see them in 1901: Churchyard, Alfred J abt 1835 Yoxford, Suffolk, England Head Biggleswade Bedfordshire Churchyard, Elizabeth abt 1839 Yoxford, Suffolk, England Wife Biggleswade Bedfordshire Churchyard, Alberta L M *abt 1882 Stotfold, Bedfordshire, England Daughter Biggleswade Bedfordshire If so, did Alfred marry Sarah Louisa later on? nell

If they married 1886, then the Alfred & Elizabeth I found in 1891 aren't the right couple - unless Sarah died and Elizabeth was 2nd wife and mother of the children? nell

found them on th 1891 living in Biggleswade but nothing for 1901, No birth showing for Jessie either on freebmd & supposed to be fully transcribed. How old was she on marriage & death certs? where did you get her birth date? Nothing showing on Ancestry searching the free section of bmd,s mother on the 1891 is Sarah L. Shirley
