Can anyone find where this family went. I had problems getting Hephzibah this far but they all seem to disappear. This is 1881 census entry ** Ethel Williams abt 1878 Altofts, Yorkshire, England Daughter Upper Altofts, Altofts, Yorkshire, England Hephzibah Williams abt 1844 Boxworth, Cambridgeshire, England Wife Upper Altofts, Altofts, Yorkshire, England Sidney R. hard one! have looked at all the Ethels born about the right time in Altofts...'may have been transcribed with the neigbours' theory - but it failing me! likewise sidney. going to get some more coffee and will look again |

This is what I have on Hephzibah (my wife's great half-aunt) Born Coton in Cambridgeshire. Christening in church records Father William Willows. Mother Hannah Ellard or Ellwood.Hannah dies 1843. 1851 Hephizbah being raised by Hannah's parents Elizebeth Willowes abt 1843 Coton, Cambridgeshire, England Granddaughter Boxworth Cambridgeshire 1861 Working for Mr William Wickham in Swavesey.
