Yes June i think maybe you are right ....maybe thats why i can not find Mary Ann Browns marriage i have been looking in Leicester and it should be London!! cheers for the help Lynn |

Found her in 1891 it says [Fortune of war ] next to her name living 14,Northgate st ,Leicester Mary A Griffin Head widow 55 Leicester Selina Ross Daughter widow 30 London Andrew Brown Brother Widower 35 Leicester Sarah J Johnson Servant 15 RG12 / 2541 All this info is off image But she is down as Selina Griffin hope this helps June |

Please can anyone help me find Selina Ross [nee Giffin ]she was born 1860 poss Leicester her mother was Mary Ann [nee Brown] ..... although on the 1881 her brother Benjamin Frank Giffin [known as Frank ]was with his grandparents George T Brown in Upper Charles Street Leicester given his place of birth as London ....i Cauld not find Selina !! but i know she married in 1886 to Alexander Ross in Leicester ...i know nothing about him !!any help please...Lynn |
