Find Ancestors

Hi, I am really stuck with this one I am trying to find a birth of Rose Collins. She was married April 1892 in Islington to Henry Twyman and was 23 years old so my calculations say she should have been born between May 1868 and March 1869. Her dad was called John on the cert and a farm baliff. I have looked on all the census years on Ancestry cant find a dicky bird, been looking for her mother and father and so on but this line is tricky. Can anyone help at all, please and thankyou. Zoe

Hi Zoe, Yes this is Rose Collins daughter Rosa Tywman, Rose died giving birth to Rosa so she must have gone to live with her Grandmother Emma who was widowed to William, Henry's father. Did you get that I am not sure I did. But yes it is her but cant find any more Collins info. Thanks Zoe

So we have no idea where Rose was born do we? Shame is if she was in the 1901 we could have got her birth place. Well looked for a Rose Collins in 1881 - no joy yet will keep looking Zoe x

Dont think it is either of the above from 1871 as Haastings Rose is still in hastings and Camberwell Rose' father is a Printer. Sorry. Suzanne

Hi, One of the witnesses were Emma Twyman, Henry's sister and the other was Emmanuel Twyman Henry's brother. Not much help there then. Rose Collins won't be on a census after 1891 as she died in 1893 giving birth. She should still be Collins as she wasn't married until 1892 either.
