Well to find out who he is you may have to order some certificates like his marriage to Caroline(to get fathers names and occupations), one of the childrens birth certs(for Carolines maiden name) And then you might be able to establish who he is Zoe

no i only know what is written on their tomestones. elias and charity are buried together both died in 1914 but caroline remarried and passed away in the 1980's
