Just found out that my gran died on the 25th september 1952 her married name was Hilda Farmery wife of John Farmery my grandad John Farmery died on the 7th february 1965 would anyone please try to find out any other information thanks

Bearing in mind, that you have changed the details on the header ....... and have taken the origional info off ...... !!!! From what your now saying ........ it looks to me, as if you need to subscribe to 1837online ..... and find a possible entry for your Gran's death ....... which will hopefully give you her age and date of birth. This will then enable you to find a marriage and of course HER birth cert. Good Luck Elaine ;-) You need to find out the year of birth for her ELDEST child and use that as a guideline for a possible marriage for her and her hubby. Is she your Mum's Mum or Dad's Mum ? ..... can't you ask either of them when she may have died or even when she married ?

I'm baffled Your brother was born 1949 .. which means your parent must have been born LATEST 1933. This means the LATEST your Gran was born is 1917. This is worked out IF all the parents were 16 when children were born. Is it possible that your Gran had been married BEFORE Farmery ? Now that you have exact dates, you can buy the death certs, which will tell you how old each of them was at the time. Then you can start looking through 1837online for their births etc. 1837online is a pay-to-view site, so you will need to purchase units to be able to look at the records. Reg

Hi Diane, looked at the yorkshire BMD site and there are no Shellwell births or marriages at all. Is Hilda your mums or your dads mother? What is the name and date of birth of Hild's child........your mum or dad.
