Ok so you do not know if Richard was ever in this country or do you think he was maybe best to get a Usa 1850/1860 lookup done and see if she is in US or not. And someone else might find her in the 1861 census as Laud with parents if they were here Zoe

Hi Is there anyone out there who can help me please. I am tryinig to trace Lydia Laud or Lands parents I have managed to find Richard Laud or Land as he was on the 1851 & 1861 & 1871 census. But on Lydia Lauds Marraige cert he was known as Laud. He worked as a station master and moved around the country. Lydia was born in the USA in 1842 and Eliza was born in 1844 in the USA. All the other siblings were born in England. I can not find Richard born 1815/ 1816 or his Wife Eliza born 1815 Manchester after the 1871 census. Can any one help me get through the brick wall. As it is now giving me a slight headache. Thankiing you Karen Marie
