i have a new book, which gives info on some Coroners inquests in Nottingham for the above dates. It's name indexed, so happy to look up any names. About 250 names listed. Warning -some of the details are VERY gory!

hiya sorry to jump in but if the name your looking for isnt in the book, Have you tried 'nottingham evening post' for details of inquest/coroners report??? I recently found the inquest details to my great great grandmothers death In a local nottm paper, sorry to butt in :) regards Julie

Karen Yes, there is a Parr in the book - Mary Ann Parr who was aged 25 in 1852, and was an inmate of Bingham Workhouse. She was accused of murdering her baby. If you think this might be one of 'yours', send me a private message, and I'll send you the details.
