Thank you both for your help, I did'nt have the bapt for Thomas Barlow so thank you, things do get rather complicated with so many Harriots & Hannahs etc, I have down wife as Harriott (Cobb) born 1831 Beckingham Nottingham. Could be a relation to Sarah Cobb. I have Thomas Barlow on 1891census with his wife named as Harriot, so I don't really know about Hannah (mind boggling). I also have Thomas Parents as William Barlow born Clarborough with wife named Harriett Pinder b1793 London Middlesex. William & Harriett married 24 mar 1817 Clarborough. Wendy R

Hi Wendy I thought Id check out the 1841 census but only found two Thomas Barlows of the right age: Both living in Beckingham, both age 15, one living alone and one living as a servant with other servants. (May be just a coincidence but the one living alone - his neighbour is a Sarah Cobb, living alone age 50, thought it may be a connection to his wife Hannah?) Suzanne

Can't help with your query, but the Thomas Barlow born 1823 at Clarborough, is on the 1851 census with his wife, but her name is Hannah and not Harriet. Kath. x

Hi, I would really appreciate some help as I have got myself in rather a muddle, with so many people with the same name etc, I am now trying to piece together and I need the parents of Thomas BARLOW born abt 1823 CLARBOROUGH . Nottingham. I did have a posting yesterday looking for his Wife Harriett's maiden name which was Cobb, so that is ok now. Wendy R
