Please can you help in finding this family in 1901. I have been looking for months (and I'm not joking) to locate them....I have them in 1861, 1871, 1881 & 1891 but nothing since then I have tried all name variations including each individual. they have to be there somewhere surely?? Here they are in 1891.....please?? any suggestions?? Clavering, Benjamin abt 1857 Manchester, Lancashire, England Head Manchester Lancashire Clavering, Ellen abt 1888 Salford; Manchester, Lancashire, England Daughter Manchester Lancashire Clavering, Esther abt 1890 Manchester, Lancashire, England Daughter Manchester Lancashire Clavering, Johanna abt 1863 Manchester, Lancashire, England Wife Manchester Lancashire Clavering, Mary Ann abt 1886 Salford; Manchester, Lancashire, England Daughter Manchester Lancashire Anything would be very much appreciated. Hi Jess Thanks for the reply.....I haven't found any deaths around that time for any of them. They can't all have dissappeared can they? Esther died in the 1970's is Salford so I.m guessing they were all in Manchester till their death. Pam |

have you looked at the address that they were at in 1891 on the 1901 census ? |

The 1901 site has an address search. That might help. It costs though. |

Tracy, Thank you Yes, that's right she married my gt grand father and she was living on Islington Street. I've checked the directories...her address isn't there!! So frustrating. Pam |

I Have checked 1901 for address - 17 Thompson Street - checked all 'Thompson' in greater Manchester, still nothing. Any more suggestions please?? Thank You Pam |

where ever they are, they are going to been recorded, when the lists are trancribed it is so easy for the person that is entering the data to forget to change surname, hence when they do get uncovered you may find they are recorded as an extension, if you like, of the family next door |
