Sam Thanks. I would appreciate it, if you had time on your next visit, if you could check for Elsie's burial details as mentioned before. Many thanks for the offer. Fi

Tina, The areas round Stoke on Trent they have all the parish records for, the ones from further afield - like Tipton - they generally have in book form and they only go up to about 1812. They don't have any later ones. Sam x

Sam You mention that Stoke on Trent Archives have records for almost all Staffordshire parishes. Do you know if they hold records for Tipton? I have looked on their website but they don't seem to have a list of what they hold on there. Thanks Tina

Hi Thelma, If they died that long ago there is a possibility that they are buried in the churchyard so I will check that for you. Sam x

Hi Tracy and Angela, it will be no problem to check your marriages, I will let you know what I find. Kelly, unfortunately the Archives don't have the records for Hanbury - its a shame 'cos I have rellies from there as well that I need to check! As far as I have seen it must be the only parish in Staffs that they dont have. If I ever make it to Staffs Record Office or Burton-on-Trent Archives (who do have them) I will let you know. Fi & Lilly, unfortunately I have only booked the fiche reader tomorrow and the burial records are on CD. I do need to check some burials for my family so hopefully will be booking a PC in the next couple of weeks. Sam x
