Have found Eliza Haze, mistranscribed as Hayes in the 1861 census. I've saved the image. Have saved the 1901 image for Leonard Bysouth, living with parents and siblings. Kath. x

That's a hat trick - can not find Eleanor either. Maureen

There is a James Bonfield on the 1901 census with a wife called Annie, living Therfield, which isn't far from Royston where Eleanor's marriage was registered. Could she have been known as Annie for some reason? Her age is right, but birthplace given as Therfield. Can't find Nuthampstead on the map to see if it is close to Therfield. Kath. x

The thing is Dennis , you seem to have little idea of what you are actually looking for , except a pair of names.... Is there no way you can establish which she married , other than us trying to find Just an Eleanor BOnfield/Eleanor Wisbey? It all seems a bit hit and miss jess

Have now found Nuthampstead on the map and it's not far from Therfield, so I think the James with wife Annie could be a possibility. Kath. x

Therfield and Nuthampstead on opposite sides of A10, approx 8miles apart. Annie from Therfield has daughter born before 1898 -hmm Christine
