It's what the enumerator has written that's confusing me! His birthplace is given as St Geo in the East on the index but it says Islington on the returns! |

Thanks Helen I'll take another look now I have some ideas. I've found him in 1901 staying with his mother in Essex but down as Married. Occupation line has been left blank! Need to try and find a possible in 1881 and/or a marriage to give me some clues Lou |

Thanks Rosemary That's not him in 1881. Father is Reuben, mother is Elizabeth. I have Reuben and Elizabeth in Tottenham and James isn't with them! Don't think that's my James in 1891 then cos I have him in 1901 with his mother in Essex. Back to the drawing board then....thanks everyone! Lou |
