Hayley, I just checked in to see if you had managed to get your info - I see several very kind people have helped you. I know that it will have taken people - in particular Maureen who went to the library for you - several hours to find this info. Most of the early census returns are not indexed and can be very difficult to read. It is lovely to see how kind and generous some people are with their time and efforts..... Have you searched for her death? This certificate would give you an age at least! Jenny hmm... nothing on freebmd really fits unless she had moved out of the area

Lookups are difficult when you don't know how old someone is. I'm looking for a marriage for you instead. I don't have Bridlington myself either. Do you know who Susannah's father is?

Hayley, Have you found her with her daughter in 1871? This would give you an age and birthplace. I can't help with the earlier censuses but can do 1871 for more detail if needed. It would make the earlier lookups easier - she may not even be alive in 1841! Best wishes, Jenny ooh too slow!

Yes, it is Susannah Clifford, she lived with her Grandmother Ann Wormleighton in the 1871 Census

I am not sure of her age, she had a daughter in 1865, and that is all i know.

How old would she be? Where was she born? Does she have any other family members? Would she be married or single?
