I have recently had some work done on my computer and have lost my link to the 'naughty' free Ancestry! lol I found a lost rellie on the 1881 with his surname spelt wrong. I now can't find him on the LDS site cos I can't remember how it was mispelt! Here's his info: John Thomas Greenley born 1864 in North Burton (now Burton Fleming), Yorkshire. I seem to think he was working as a farm servant - possibly in Thwing. Could some kind person take a look for me and let me know how his surname was spelt. Thanks Jeanette x |

Lol Zoe! Thwing is really a place, honest! I think he could have been working there - he certainly ended up living there or in a small hamlet just outside |

Hi Karen That's not him I'm afraid. I haven't actually managed to encorporate that one into my tree yet. I do have at least a dozen other John Greenleys to make up for it though! lol Jeanette x |

That's the one Linda! Acton should be Octon which is just outside Thwing. In 1881 it was some sort of permutation of Greenley though! |

Zoe - None of them I'm afraid. Maybe he was working somewhere else Gail - No sorry! It was definitely something like Greenley but not quite Lyla - Not him but that's quite interesting. I know there were a Greenley family at Foston so it could be a mistranscription |

Yvonne No 'fraid not! You know the more I think about it, the more I think he could be the Harome one. I did have a piece of paper with it written down on the desk, but everybody uses this desk and nicks 'unimportant' pieces of paper to write messages on! lol |
