Steph I wish you luck with this one it's a bit odd. The HANCOCK that I mentioned above - when i tried to find the family on 1881 all I could find was your hannah white !! but unless Hancock means anything to you, I've run out of idea Sorry Esta

Found Charles White and James White and an Emmily White (aged 7) in 1871 so I presume that's the family Hannah married into but she isn't with them either! Sarah

the only Hannah and Edwin with a mother I could find in 1871 was HANCOCK - (right ages etc ) can't find LEE anywhere Esta

Found Charles, Ellen and William (all Lee's) How come if Charles is a Lee they became Whites after Charles and Hannah were married? That's the family I'm after, but Hannah (Lee) married Charles White in 1876, so trying to find her and children on 1871!

That's the 1881 census!!! Some of them weren't alive in 1871. Sarah Oh where's it gone??

Esta's right. He's there in 1881 and 1901 but can't see him in 1871. Will try the others who are with him in later census to see if I can see them in 1871 Sarah

Steph I would if i could find him ! I must be going mad as the only Edwin Lee b Northamptonshire comes up as 14 and edwin lee aged 1/2 isn't northamptonshire I'll try again Esta

When I enter EDWIN LEE , born between 1869 & 1871 in Northamptonshire, only one comes up on the Ancestry site, on the 1871 census. Is anyone able to give me details of who else is in the household? Thanks, Steph
