	Thank you both! We're pretty sure The Alfred , Olive and Robert family are my Grandfather's brother Alfred, sister in law Olive and nephew Robert. They moved to America so we've lost contact. If this is one of these American Scarfes trying to research their family tree I'd love to get hold of them. best wishes Sarah

	I don't know if anyone is a member of this website but a google search suggested there might be an Alfred Scarfe born in Barnsley married to an Olive on this site with a son called Robert (also born in Barnsley). Having chatted to my Grandma tonight it turns out it might be my grandfather's brother. Is anyone a member and can check and see if there are any Scarfe's from Barnsley listed on the site?
