1901 Tom - 33 - is a commercial clerk 1891 tom is a ......................carpenter - sorry can't read the first bit ! 1881 his father is a boiler maker there are others occupations but I can't read them !! WIll that do ..? and your welcome to the help - I hope it all helps !! Esta |

the James I found in 1891 aged 11 months.........got it a bit wrong........ Atherton, Amelia 28 Lancashire Wife Hindley Lancashire Atherton, Samuel 29 Lancashire Head Hindley Lancashire Atherton, James 11/12 Lancashire Son Hindley Lancashire Atherton, James 59 Lancashire Head Hindley Lancashire Atherton, Mary A 63 Lancashire Wife Hindley Lancashire They all seem to be in the same house but is parents were obviously Samuel and Amelia..........Sorry Anything we've miss...?? adam, I did find a james Atherton in 1891 aged 11/12 ( ! ) I can't read the image as it's too faint ( or it could be my eyes ) I assume it means he is 11 months old - but his parents are a Mary and James Atherton...!! Esta |

Hi Trying to lookup The Atherton family all born in Hindley. In Particular Thomas or Tom Atherton who married Sarah Cattle. He was born in 1867ish. Trying to find if they had a son called james in 1890. Many Thanks Adam |
