can anyone help me find my g/g/ grandfather on the 1881 census please.his name was john cromby he married rose ann caulfield in 1880 and lived in the liverpool area of toxteth. thanks ann

have been on 1881 census but nothing for rose ann caulfield but she would have had a married name wouldnt she

jonh comby was b aprox 1855 and rose ann aprox 1860

Ann, Where were John & Rose born please ... and have you got either of them on any other census ? I have the disc's and they aren't showing up under the name Cromby ... which would be the married name. Elaine :-)

the only child i know about is margaret b 1885. she was my grandmother.but cant even find her birth

You need to find Margaret then on the 1891 census .... hopefully she just may have an older sister at home with her ! Good Luck ...I'd have looked by now ... but not on Ancestry at mo. Elaine :-)
