Peter, It sounds as if you are able to get the "Images" from 1881 ... where are you getting these from please ? bacause I have been told that you can only view these images at an LDS centre until the 1881 census is actually put onto disc's and made available to the public ? I have the 1881 Disc's that was released by the LDS .. but they don't contain images. I would love to obtain images ...please explain where you are getting them from. Could you kindly look up a 1901 entry for George Howick, born Camberwell London. In 1901 he would have been 12 years of age. I have a feeling he may be at some type of boarding school. Hi Peter, If possible could you please look-up Bessie Hunter on the 1901 census. Bessie was born in Strensall and would be age 52 living in York on the census. Many, many thanks for looking up John Ryan for me. His son John was my G/father and I was always given to understand he was born in Ireland so had never attempted to look for him.You have given me a whole new family here in Wales to look for . Thank you again |
