This request has been dealt with on another thread. Don't waste your time. Think Ann should have posted a message saying as much. Cheers,Tricia

I've just had a good search for another thread with same request .. can't see it ? Maybe Ann accidently deleted her initial request and therefore is asking again ? Oh well ... it was good practice for me .. to find mistranscriptions ! ... I really don't mind as long as I feel that I've done something for someone else, in return for all the help I get on this board. Elaine :-)

Hi Maz, I was just about to add, that I DO understand how infuriating it is for the people who have already gone to the time and trouble of looking/finding the info once. Maybe Ann, you should bear this in mind for the future. Regards Elaine :-)

Before you all get your knickers in a twist girls - READ the threads. No wonder agro has come up in the past on these sites and I for one, am not going to enter into that sort of thing. I posted a thread for Thurlbourn missing in 1881. I then saw Maz's offer to lookup for 1871, 1891 NOT 1881. I asked her to look at 1871 and 1891 which she did. Is this clear now? I am always grateful for any help received and ALWAYS thank. Ann

Think we all realise that but it still wouldn't have hurt to let people know you had found information. Not getting at you but people think you haven't been helped and it can be frustrating to repeat information. That's all, Tricia

I give up Tricia - this is the sort of thing that makes people leave GR - I was not llogged on all morning - I was baking for my g.daus birthday and have only come back to find accused of time wasting. I repeat again my thread asked for 1881 - I asked Maz for different years.

Elaine - thank you - that is brilliant - another daughter has come up Ada and the address. This is for a friend of mine who has become hooked in the past week from watching BBC2 on Tuesday evenings and I am trying to give her a start with her tree. Ann

Elaine - she is off to sunny climes for the winter and has all this paperwork to take with her and sort it into a tree and believe me there is quite a lot of paperwork which I have downloaded. I have only been answering her questions and checked the census for her direct line. She has (apart from this morning) been sitting beside me learning how to search on the internet. Wish I had had some help and the internet when I began 15 years ago. If I add up the hours must have spent months in Record Offices!. Ann
