As the title says, it's not indexed - so if you're after someone in Gloucestershire, I'll need alot of details as to where they're living at the time of census. I'll be looking thru images after images so it will take time for me to search, you'll have to bear it with me! Would be great if you have families in 1851 & 1871 so I can look in between those two censuses, so please list them :) Altho.. I do have 1851 for Gloucs.. So that might help ;) T |

Hi, Looked thru Staverton.. No FLINT family.. But as for Cheltenham area.. There are soooo many different Cheltenham i.e St Marys, St Lukes, St Pauls and St Peters. So ideally I'd like to have more details. Either they've moved after their child who was born in Staverton. Sorry, T |

Tracy Thank you for your offer. Could you look at the 1861 for Rendcomb(e) and see if it lists a residence called The Kennels? I'd love to know who was living there 1861. Also, if you find it, could you tell me what was before and after it in the schedule? Many thanks. nell |

Tracy The year after this census (1862) a relative of mine, William MEALING murdered Sarah HART who was then living at The Kennels. I wondered how long she had been there. Previously I think she was in North Nibley. At the time of the murder, she was living with her 3-year-old child and her father Richard, who was in his 80s. Thanks for looking. nell |

Hi Tracey, Wonder if you are still able to do look-ups for Gloucestershire? I am looking to find a Francis Thatcher b 1836 St George's Bristol, his wife Jane. b 1836 Bath Sommerset and their family.Son James Thatcher born 1860 Hanham,Bristol. I have them on the 1871 census living at 45 Cuckoo lane, St Georges Bristol, and 1881 census were living 40 Corbett Street St Georges Bristol. Also would love to find Francis' parents, Father's name not known, but Mother was Ann Thatcher b 1807 St George's Bristol. On 1871 census Ann was living at Nags Head Hill, St George's Bristol.Ann was widowed at this time. This is all the info I have on them, Hope this is enough info to help with the look-up. Thanks for Any help with them. Mea. |

Mea, Hi.. I've been trawling all Glos (St Georges) and I cannot find them, so I tried looking for Hanham, couldn't find the town - looked up on the registration info.. This what came up.. Keynsham Created 1st July 1837. Mainly in Somerset, but included parts of Gloucestershire. Sub-districts : Bitton; Keynsham; Kingswood; Newton; Oldland. GRO volumes : XI (1837-51); 5c (1852-1930). Bitton, Hanham, Hanham Abbots, Kingswood, Mangotsfield, Oldland, Siston. Registers now divided between Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bristol districts. So maybe it's in Somerset at the time? Or other parts of Glos that I dont seem to have.. Sorry :( T |
