Whats happened to access to freeBMD on ancestry.com? I know its been a while since I looked but have they deleted it or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Pamela I don't know where you are looking for it, but it is on Ancestry as England & Wales Civil Registration and I used it just now. I have to register, but it is free. Try www.ancestry*.co*.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/main*.htm remove * first. nell

You can access FreeBMD without Ancestry... www.freebmd.org.uk Regards Mark

You can also access to BMD thru ancestry without having to be a member. I used it alot when my trial ran out. T

freebmd(.)rootsweb.com (remove brackets) is much better than the index on Ancestry. Ancestry is a little bit behind in comparison to FreeBMD. Chloe
