Thank you so much for this offer Mary. If you have any spare credits left would you see if you can find a birth for Esther Gisford (aged 1 in 1871 census) so should be born 1870. Many thanks - Jackie

Hi Mary Thankyou for the offer. If you have any credits left, could you please look up either the birth or the death of my g/grandfather Frederick Joseph Loader . So far I haven't been able to find either. His marriage cert said he was 24 in 1872 so that would make year of birth 1848, but both 1881 census and 1901 seem to make it 1851. He was born in London, sorry dont know the area, but 1891 census said Notting Hill. Somewhere else it was Marylebone. So it could be anywhere!! His father was William Loader. He died in the Nelson area. My cousin moved to Canada in 1915 when she was 5 and she remembers him so he was alive in 1915, but she thinks he died within about 10 years. Sorry to be so vague, but I know there must be some records somewhere if only I knew where to look! This might just help to stop you feeling bored!! If you can come up with anything I would be so grateful....Sheila

Tony The only birth record I could find for 1851 that sort fo fits your request is as follows: John Thomas Shirley June Qtr 1851 Nottingham Vol 15 Page 650. Nothing for a Henry at the same time and none for Henry in Nottingham at all. You will need to send for a birth cert to discover parents names. Mary

Pamela It is not possible to view certificates prior to purchase, there would be many people on this site who would wish that one could. You will have to bite the bullet and send for the certificates as we all do and hope they are the correct ones. Mary

Would be grateful if you could a death lookup for me please. James Farmer born Edinburgh would be about 50 when he died in London 1958. He died within months of his wife Jean who died in 1958. I looked in the LDS FHC but they only had deaths to 1903 which was before he was born!!!
