Thanks Diane. I know what it's like sometimes when the same person keeps cropping up asking for things all the time. I just don't like to think I'm taking advantage of your generosity. Thank you all the same. You never know, I might be back asking again. Regards, Nancy. |

Sorry Nancy, I can't find anyone at all remotely like Nicholas Byrne/Burn/Burns. Don't worry about asking, I wouldn't have offered if I wasn't prepared to look. I have all these names and only needed the census for a few of my own. Others have helped me so I like to return the favour and help if I can. I know how elusive some of our ancestors can be and sometimes it's just as useful to rule out a possibility too :-) Regards Diane |

Hello Diane, I have been trying to find a William Jubb born c1845 in Alverthorpe or Kirkhamgate on the 1851 census for Sue Smith. His father is also William born c1806 in Greasebrough I have found him in 1861 for her living at Low Valley in Rothwell. His uncle Benjamin and grandfather Thomas are there in 1851, but I have not been able to locate William. Any help would be greatly appreciated by us both!! All the best Russell |
