Eileen I'm a great fan of the Norfolk Transcription Archive and use it a lot. It's just that this particuar marriage wasn't on there! James Re 1841 Norfolk Census - parts of this are available on the Norfolk Transcription Archive site. Not a lot but some. Also parts of 1861 and 1871. Good luck Janet

The marriage is also listed on my VRI CD but again no ages or info on parents. I've also checked CD for possible christening records and christenings for their children but can't find anything.

Hi, I'm not sure what is on it but I think it's all the Norfolk marriages 1800ish to 1837. If you find their website via your search engine that may have more details. Gwynne

Hi Janet, Norfolk FHS sell a pre 1837 marriage index which will have the information you need. If no one here can help you subscribe to the Rootsweb Norfolk mailing list. I have seen several responses to requests for look ups on the index. Gwynne
