I really must say thankyou again as I have never come across someone who is so helpful without judging me for not looking myself. I think sometimes you need other resources which obviously you have.

Hi steph,
It is Barnsley which is not far from me, about 15 miles. She must have been form Barnsley then.

I've been doing it quite a while.

I'm no good at census and back beyond that but I do enjoy looking through the bdm qtr by qtr.

That's why I like findmypast.

Well I have looked on ancestry complete bmd and it says no search results for David 1943 so its not that complete is it ?
