According to the Post Office Directory of Cambs, Norfolk & Suffolk,1869. [Part 1: Cambridgeshire] the innkeeper of the Golden Lion at Long Stowe was Thomas Chapman. The Golden Lion at Bourn was run by David Hughes who was also a boot and shoe maker. |

I think you need to get (if you haven't already) the marriage cert for Mary Anne & her spouse........it will have info about her father's occupation......... |

Thomas Chapman was born C 1819 in Bourn Cambs . I am trying to find out which Pub/Inn he owned as I have narrowed it down to two pubs just over a mile apart. |
