I am tracing this family for my friend ,

William Hedley was her gt grandfather (on her mums side) and she has several family 'theories' that somewhere there was an italian or possibly Jewish link....but it doesn't look likely from this info not on either side so far. Will send her all this and see if she can come up with any ideas!

I'm unable to find out if Margaret Jackson is actually part of the family. I've looked at the image and it don't tell me much.

However Robert is a Teacher in this census, so you might be able to get info from that about him.
In 1851 he was a Clerk to what looked like Slate Mechant.

I have found Hannah's family, having burnt dinner again! Don't worry the family are used to it now! lol

Unfortunately Ancenstry is undergoing some routine maintenence so the full details I cannot get, but I have names of parent's.

Robert Wilkinson Parkinson and Dinah Parkinson.
As soon as Ancestry lets me back in to view, i'll post the census for you. It's dated 1851 so there should be some siblings there too.
