Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me trace my ggg grandfather William Gray born in Seaton Ross, Yorkshire England in 1819. I am new to GR and do not know where or how to get this type of info. He then married a girl called Caroline (Imeson?) possibly around Q3 1842. She was from Leeds and her mother was Jane. They lived in Carr St, Leeds according to the 1861 census. William was a cloth finisher. Would anyone out there know where I could find the local mill? I would be very grateful for any direction on these queries.
Many thanks,
Pauline
