Can someone look for the birth for me please for a Hannah Cracknell born abt 1867 in Newington, Surrey, England?
All the census records I’ve looked up say abt 1867, father Richard and mother Hannah but the only birth I could see remotely close was 1869.

A birth year of c.1867 on the census usually means a birth date of between the June qtr. of 1866 and the June qtr. of 1867.

There is a birth for that name in 1866 but it's in Norfolk and not Newington. I'll give the reference just in case although it's probably not what you are looking for:-

Wonder why she is living with Grandparents! (Richard's Parents)
Can't find her birth registered as Cracknell, 2 other children shown as living with Hannah and Richard, she must have been (hannah) 16/17 when Hannah was born!

I wonder if she wasn't registered as it wasn't compulsery until 1875

There is a big gap for St Saviour between 1862 & 1870

Her father Richard was on her marriage certificate to John Aylward and was listed as a fish curer. I looked for that information on the censuses and came up with the same as Carol

The only Cracknell births I could find in either 1866 or 1867 were for these three:-

Elizabeth
Walter george
Georgina.

Perhaps she wasn't registered at all.
