thank you all this is great help i know that she married charles henry hicks on the 3rd august 1912 in Bridgend wales and she was 28 according to the marriage certificate

I think we need some feedback.......and clarification.....from Craig.

There is no way that I can tie Henry born c1855 to a Rose anywhere on the censuses..........

I assume you have her father named as Henry on the marriage cert.........what makes you think he's the one born in 1855?

What does the cert say about his occupation?

its says that his occupation was a shiphand or skiphand or shephard not easy to transcribe
