I am trying to trace my gggrandmother her name was Louisa I am not sure if she was a Doming as she had a baby in 1871 called annie but there dosent seem to be any mention of a father. in the 1871 census it states Louisa visiting croydon but born in poole dorset \i cant find anything on any other census. when Annie married in 1896 the wedding certificate states a Spencer Doming (dec) as being the father but I cant find him anywhere your help would be most appreciated

In the 1861 for Louisa, Catherine, Ellen, Elizabeth & Julia were all born in Newfoundland. So obviously Louisa won't be on 1851.

But is she Annie's Louisa because she seems to be a bit old? Not impossible, just not likely.

Yes annie was born in croydon 1871 and louisa born in Poole 1849. This really is a mystery as Louisa dosent seem to appear onany other census. If only I could find out if Doming was her maiden or married name Mnay thanks

Unfortunatley this is not Annies marriage although the same year she was married to James Elliott in London
