If you get the Seal/Skipage marriage cert, Albert's father's name and occupation should be on. That will make searching for him easier - Seal is a more common name than Skipage!

Just started out on researching my family tree and am stuck at the moment. My maternal grandmother was born in Poplar, East London in c1900 and was given the names Rosetta Daisy Dorothy Noel. I believe she was the youngest child with older siblings and her father's name was Albert, mother's name unknown at present - hoping to rectify that soon! All contact with her family ceased upon her marriage to my grandfather, Cornelius Carbine, reasons unknown. I believe that both parents were deceased at the time of her marriage in 1921. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
