Find Ancestors

Trying to find info on Daniel Alexander Tibbert for my partner.
All i have is that he died 1940 in Glasgow.
BDM comes up as no matches for marriages.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Daniel Alexander Tibbert died 13th Feb 1941 at the Victoria Infirmiry, aged 56. He was an Electrician journeyman. He was married first to Margaret Crighton then to Catherine Ritchie.

Father was Thomas Tibbert, a seargent in the Northumberland fusiliers (deceased at the time of Daniel's death)
Mother was Jane (cant read surname - also deceased at the time of his death)

The death was registered on 14th February 1941 by his daughter Diana Tibbert.

& catherine in 1917

ok, his mother was born Jane Taylor. She married Daniel Morrison after Thomas died. She died on 7th April 1914. Her parents were Daniel Taylor and Jessie Murray. Cause of death was Chronic bronchitis and Cardiac failure.

Oh, no it clearly says Jessie.

Looks like she may have been Janet but known as Jessie or the other way about. Both Damiel's are tailors, I'm convinced it's the same family

Father Daniel is listed as a tailor on the death cert. It has to be the same one.

On reading the info you have supplied my partner thinks that both Margaret & Catherine may be related. She doesn't know how, just a hunch.

Catherine was Catherine Crighton Ritchie.

Margaret's mother was also called Margaret Crighton. After Margaret jnr was born, she married Andrew Ritchie. Here is your connection
